Our Therapy Dog program is a six week program for volunteers to take their well trained dogs who have passed advanced obedience into the community as Vet Pets therapy dogs.

Take your dog with us to disabled veteran centers and care facilities. Sign up and your information will be sent to our team for review. Once the class is full and we have chosen a start date we will contact you to determine if you would like to still participate.
Volunteering with therapy dogs provides a sense of purpose and joy by helping others.

Therapy dogs can reduce stress, anxiety, and feelings of loneliness, especially for veterans or individuals dealing with trauma or illness.
VetPets has forever changed our family. We received a 13 week old puppy that we had to learn to take care of and train. This was so helpful because we got to bond with Nessy as she grew and we trained with her. What we didn't realize was how much we were growing at the same time. Meeting new people that have quickly become family to us.
